Who we areA place where every child belongs
Jugando Sin Límites is a sports initiative in Nicaragua creating inclusive opportunities for children with special needs — including autism and Down syndrome — through the joy and discipline of play.
How Jugando Sin Límites began

Jugando Sin Límites began from my desire to combine my two biggest passions—sports and helping people. When I discovered the Futismo and Futdown programs, I was immediately inspired to take part, as I wanted to support neurodiverse children through the power of sports. Motivated by this vision, I created a student-led club that partners with Escuela Arturo Angarita to provide inclusive opportunities for children with special needs, where volunteers could use sports as a tool to empower, connect, and inspire.
We recruited and trained over 36 student volunteers to run adaptive weekly sports sessions for 77 neurodiverse children, helping them build confidence, resilience, and social skills. Additionally, organized fundraising initiatives, such as raffles that raised over $400, secured donations of uniforms, equipment, and resources, and helped cover 40% of the funding needed for children to participate in an international competition, allowing them to represent their school abroad.
Beyond logistics and event coordination, I focused on sustainability by mentoring younger students to carry the mission forward, while spearheading awareness campaigns that promoted inclusion and disability advocacy across my school and community. Beyond logistics and event coordination, I prioritized sustainability by mentoring younger students to continue the club's mission, while also leading awareness campaigns that promoted inclusion and disability advocacy across my school and community. None of these achievements would have been possible without the support of my family, friends, professors, peers, and the Arturo Angarita School. We were able to turn these goals into reality.
A new chapter, the same mission
Today, Mauricio's vision is carried forward by our new President, Nemesio Porras. He steps in to continue the legacy — making sure every child keeps getting exactly what they need to grow, on and off the field.

When I first joined Jugando Sin Límites, I thought I was coming to teach soccer. Instead, I found friendships that completely changed the way I see others.
Our athletes have taught me that inclusion is not simply about giving someone an opportunity to participate. It is about seeing people for who they are: their personalities, their determination, their humor, and everything they bring to our community.
Today, having the privilege of serving as President, I want Jugando Sin Límites to continue being a place where every athlete feels welcomed, valued, and capable of achieving more than others may expect of them.
Soccer brought us together, but what we have built goes far beyond the field. We are teammates. We are friends. We are a family without limits.

Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To provide an inclusive, developmental space where children and young people with disabilities improve their physical, cognitive and emotional skills through sport. We build confidence, promote autonomy, and support families so they can be active participants in their child's growth — so that every child finds in sport a tool for personal and social development.
Our Vision
To be a national reference in sports inclusion programs, positively impacting the lives of children and their families. We aspire to transform society's perception of disability by promoting respect, equity and acceptance through soccer — so that sport becomes a bridge to social integration and a tool for real social change.
Escuela de Talentos Arturo Angarita
Our programs Futismo and FutDown are social-inclusion programs run in partnership with the Arturo Angarita Talent School.
Together we promote the comprehensive development of children and young people with disabilities through football — designed to nurture each child's talent while respecting their differences.
